# Logging_ActiveRoles: Big Data JSON Trace Messages
Gets all trace logging events
Trace messages of Invantive products. Every process writes the messages it traces to a file of its own under a folder per day (the UTC date) below this directory, in parts: a part being written carries -writing in its name and a closed part -c, and a closed part is compressed to a .zst file beside which the uncompressed part is removed. The first lines of every part are the status lines of the process: product, version, machine, user, settings. A part being written can be read; its last line may be incomplete.

- Schema: `Logging`
- Label: Trace Messages
The data in this table is partitioned per value of the `partition` column.
This is a read-only table. The Big Data JSON API may not support changing the data or the Invantive UniversalSQL driver for Big Data JSON does not cover it. In the latter case, please use the table NativePlatformScalarRequests to upload data to the Big Data JSON API.
